On the Road: Our First Regional Event in Killarney

In collaboration with Killarney Distillery & Celtic Whiskey Bar

For our third event, we did something new — and unforgettable. We hit the road and brought Women in Irish Whiskey west, hosting our first-ever regional event in the stunning town of Killarney.

In partnership with Killarney Brewing & Distilling Co., we kicked off the day with a behind-the-scenes tour of their state-of-the-art distillery, where attendees got up close with the craft, the people, and the passion driving Irish whiskey forward. From mash to cask, it was an immersive experience that reminded us why we love this industry.

That evening, we teamed up with the legendary Celtic Whiskey Bar & Larder for a guided tasting featuring incredible female-led brands, blenders, and ambassadors. The conversations flowed as easily as the whiskey, and new connections were made that night — personal, professional, and everything in between.

This event marked a major step in our journey: bringing the Women in Irish Whiskey community beyond Dublin and into the heart of Ireland’s whiskey landscape.
